XLive has been running Esports summits for over 5 years spanning across America. This year, Informa Markets are launching XLive Middle East, which will take place from 23rd-24th October. The aim of the event is to educate the market and understand opportunities in the rapidly growing esports market specifically for the MENA region. Adam Whyte is a former sports lawyer, esports agent, founder of grassroots esports organisation, LDN UTD, and the founder of Edge. Adam has worked with clubs like Sevilla CF, Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City and AS Roma on player contracts, transfers, sponsorship and broadcast deals. His specialism was in litigation where he worked on more than 20 disputes before FIFA, UEFA & the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

And he was a competitive Hearthstone player after playing more than 30,000 games.


ALLAN PHANG

Allan Phang is the Head of Esports at AirAsia and tasked by the co-founders to lead Airasia’s overall esports strategic initiatives. His recent achievement includes winning the ‘Take Ownership Award’ by AirAsia Group People and Culture for driving esports awareness. Allan is bringing his positive energy and evangelization of esports to any international esports conference he was invited to apeak at.

Having been within the Games, Esports & Digital Entertainment Industry since 1997, Frank has have a verifiable history of commitment to growth, expansion and P&L optimization in video games, esports and media competitive industries in both mature and emerging markets across the Asia Pacific Region, the US, and Europe.
He created the first world-leading Business Platform for eSports, International Esports Conference in 2004 together with German Esports Association. Also, elected as Vice President of the International Esports Federation.

Business owner by day and esports fanatic by night; Lokesh Suji, aka dAwesomeNinja , is an esports Evangelist, Hustler and a Telecom Veteran with 18+ yrs of corporate experience with companies like Huawei, Tata Communications, Airtel, Reliance.

He is a known name when it comes to Indian Esports. Over the years been part of esports, and across different formats and categories of games, he found that the vertical in India is unstructured & unexplored, which needed to be developed along professional lines – much in the same way that other forms of sports are being developed in the country.

 


EIRIK W. HENNINGSEN

The football club Viking was one of the first clubs in Norway to have a professional FiFA team participating in the Altibox eSeries run by Norwegian Top Football. A state of the art esports center is planned in connection with development of stadium facilities from their side also.

Mr. Henningsen was one of the driving forces behing the initiative establishing The Region of Stavanger as the capital for esports in the Nordic Countries.

 


KRISH ROY

As a Sports Scientist, Krish has worked in several domains of sports, in various countries. Krish brings the connection of business in esports and lifeskill development of athletes. He has been advising to explore different Government in Germany and India for several revenue structures, where esports is one of them. Besides developing esports leagues, Krish is also working with municipalities to create concepts of esports festival with the city councils.
